Data controller
The data controller for the service is VendorSpies LLC, registered at 30 N Gould St., Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. The governing law for these Terms is the State of Wyoming.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using VendorSpies (the “Service”), operated by VendorSpies LLC (“we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. If using on behalf of an organization, you represent authority to bind it.
Service Description
VendorSpies monitors publicly available pricing/rate-limit pages from third-party AI vendors (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, DeepSeek, xAI, Cohere, Stability AI, Replicate) and notifies subscribers of changes via email, Slack, or Teams. Not affiliated with any monitored vendor.
Data accuracy disclaimer: Data is extracted programmatically and provided “as-is,” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Vendor pages may change format or be misread by our systems. Verify pricing directly with vendors before relying on it for decisions.
User Obligations / Acceptable Use
Don’t: violate law/third-party rights; circumvent security features; submit URLs without legitimate reason to track; probe/scan the Service without authorization; resell monitoring data as a competing product; use automated access outside provided functionality.
Intellectual Property
The Service (excluding third-party vendor data) is owned by VendorSpies LLC. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for internal business use during an active subscription.
Account Termination
We may suspend/terminate for Terms violations, fraud, or unpaid fees past the grace period (see Refund Policy). You may terminate anytime per the Refund Policy. IP, disclaimer, liability, and governing-law provisions survive termination.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE SERVICE OR TIMELY CHANGE DETECTION.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VENDORSPIES LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS/REVENUE/DATA, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DECISIONS MADE IN RELIANCE ON ITS DATA. TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS CAPPED AT AMOUNTS PAID IN THE PRIOR 3 MONTHS.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify VendorSpies LLC against claims arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes = acceptance.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy are the entire agreement, superseding prior agreements.
