Production source checks run every 10 minutes across every tracked vendor. As soon as a diff is detected the Change row is persisted, and the fan-out emails realtime subscribers within seconds — the same Change row drives the email, public API, and live feed on the homepage.

What if the parser misses a change?

Each snapshot captures the raw HTML hash; if a page redesign breaks the parser, the parserConfig is updated and a new snapshot becomes the baseline on the next tick. We also surface a parseError on the row so the user knows the change has been seen but is waiting on a parser update — better than a silent miss.

The live public feed shows vendor-level change events (which vendor changed what), not your account state — your watchlist, alert preferences, and API keys are all scoped to your account. The public homepage shows aggregate monitoring activity, not subscriber counts.
